PRIVATE LESSONS

I am a dedicated and passionate music educator with over 13 years of musical experience and two degrees in music, including a Bachelor of Music Education and a Bachelor of Music Performance with a focus on Trombone. My educational background has provided me with a strong foundation in both teaching and performing, ensuring that my students receive a comprehensive and enriching learning experience.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: My teaching approach is centered around fostering a supportive and engaging environment where students can explore their musical potential. I tailor my lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, whether they are beginners or advanced players, and aim to develop not only technical skills but also a deep appreciation for music.

PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE 

Bass Trombonist with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra (2023-2024) and previous substitute bass trombonist (2020-2023)

Member of various ensembles including Flagstaff Klezmer Orkestra, Summit Dub Squad, and Extra! Extra! Brass Band, F-Town Sound, Interference Series, and more.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

Student Teacher at Flagstaff High School, instructing Guitar, Orchestra, Band, and Marching Band.

Private Lesson Instructor for Trombone (Tenor and Bass) since March 2024.

SKILLS:

Proficient in music technology tools such as Sibelius, Finale, Dorico Pro 5, and LogicProX.

Experienced in sound engineering and amateur recording.
